CONTRIBUTE
Help us find the stories.
Zealanding cannot be everywhere.
If you know a person, project, place, idea or story that deserves attention, tell us about it.
You do not need to be a journalist or arrive with a finished article.
Sometimes a story begins with a photograph, a contact, a video, a conversation or simply somebody saying: “You should have a look at this.”
A. STORY TIP
Send us a story tip
Seen something happening in your town, community or industry that we should know about?
B. PITCH A STORY
Pitch Zealanding
Writers, photographers, artists and people with something worth saying are welcome to pitch Zealanding. Previous professional publishing experience is not required.
C. STORY HUNTERS
Be one of our eyes and ears around New Zealand.
A Story Hunter does not need to become a correspondent or write finished articles. It can simply mean noticing the people, projects and small stories happening around you and letting Zealanding know where to look.
Communities, artists, scientists, teachers, growers, volunteers, small businesses, young people and neighbours can all be the beginning of a story. Important journalism does not have to begin with conflict; positive, valuable and extraordinary things happening quietly around the country also deserve attention.
